JOUAV Honored to Host President of the Thailand Senate and Delegation

CHENGDU, SICHUAN - June 30, 2023 -JOUAV was honored to receive a visit from the distinguished delegation led by H. E. Professor Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, the president of the Thailand Senate. Accompanied by his team, H. E. Professor Pornpetch and his entourage inspected JOUAV's headquarters in Chengdu, Sichuan, where they were warmly welcomed by JOUAV co-founder and CTO, Mr. Wang Chen, and other executives.

He reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to nurturing strong ties with China at both the government and enterprise levels, in line with the respective economic and social development policies of the two nations. H. E. Professor Pornpetch expressed Thailand's eagerness to maintain a close and fruitful partnership with Sichuan, offering relevant support to facilitate mutual growth and progress.

The thriving bilateral trade between China and Thailand serves as a testament to the deep economic interdependence between the two nations. China stands as Thailand's largest trading partner, while Thailand ranks as China's third largest trading partner among ASEAN countries. In 2022, the total bilateral trade volume reached an impressive US$135 billion, highlighting the immense opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit.

The visit also highlighted the fruitful exchanges between Sichuan and Thailand. The total import and export volume between the two regions witnessed a substantial year-on-year increase of 22.85% in the first quarter of 2023, amounting to RMB 4.059 billion. With the establishment of 11 pairs of friendly city relations, expanding cooperation fields, and enhanced communication, the partnership between Sichuan and Thailand continues to strengthen.
